Spring at The Hydeaway – Isle of Wight Glamping and Camping

A peaceful spring stay with a few little extras for direct bookings

Spring has arrived at The Hydeaway, and the campsite is starting to come to life again after the winter months.

The hedgerows are turning green, the evenings are getting longer, and there’s finally a bit of warmth back in the sunshine.

For anyone looking for a peaceful Isle of Wight glamping or camping break before the busy summer season begins, May is a lovely time to visit. The site is quiet, the valley views are clear, and it’s a good chance to slow down and enjoy being outdoors.

We still have availability across our bell tent glamping accommodation and camping pitches throughout May. Whether you prefer a cosy bell tent stay with proper beds and a firepit, or a simple camping pitch under the stars, The Hydeaway offers a relaxed countryside escape close to Gurnard and Cowes.

Guests who book direct with us this spring can also choose a little extra as a thank you:

  • Late checkout
  • Free firepit starter kit
  • Welcome treats

The Hydeaway is a small eco friendly glamping site in Gurnard on the Isle of Wight, surrounded by wildlife, mature hedgerows, and open valley views. We also welcome well-behaved dogs, making it a great option for dog friendly glamping and camping UK breaks.

If you’ve been thinking about booking a spring getaway or trying bell tent camping for the first time, we’d love to welcome you to The Hydeaway.
