Nature’s Retreat

A Place with a Story

The Hydeaway isn’t just a campsite—it’s a heartfelt legacy rooted in family, memory, and the land itself. Created by Jan in honour of her late brother, this peaceful glampsite was once their shared dream.

Today, it's a space for others to reconnect with nature, unwind, and make meaningful memories of their own.

The Hydeaway is home to abundant blackberries, sloes, and crab apples, while barn owls and sparrow hawks are frequent visitors. The surrounding valley offers scenic views, with nearby Gurnard village and the coastal town of Cowes just a short walk away. Guests can explore coastal paths, cycling routes, and the ancient woodlands of Parkhurst Forest, rich in diverse birdlife and native flora.
